Consignment
Just Kidding buys almost anything families can use for babies and children (newborn to 8) that is clean and in near-perfect condition.
Consignment Hours are Monday through Friday during store hours.
(Saturdays are by special
appointment only - call us to arrange a Saturday drop off.)
Clothing
Accepted sizes are newborn to 6 for boys and girls.
We especially like high quality labels like Gymboree, Jack and Jill,
Gap, Talbots, etc. Gently used, clean shoes are desired as well.
We also buy gently-used maternity and nursing
clothing.
Clothing must be clean and washed, please no stained or damaged
garments.
Up to two grocery sized bags of clothing can be dropped off during
consignment hours.
Winter clothing is accepted August through December.
Spring and Summer clothing is accepted January through July.
Equipment, Toys and Gear
We also buy larger pieces of equipment such as cribs, cradles, changing
tables,
bassinets, toddler beds, high chairs, paknplays, portacribs, strollers,
jogging strollers (singles and doubles), bike trailers, baby carriers
(hiking backpack, slings, Ergos, Babybjorns,
Peanut Shells), swings, jumpers, outdoor toys, etc.
All equipment and gear is taken on a space available basis.
Equipment is accepted year round, but only if clean and complete (all
pieces).
Please do not bring in items subject to recall, as no items subject to
recall can be accepted.
Consignment Process
After you drop off you items they are evaluated. We will
call in a day or two with acceptance notification and a quote.
Acceptance is based on the item's
condition, current store needs, and known item recalls.
Sellers have the option to take cash or 20% more in store credit (same
as cash at Just Kidding).
More expensive items are consigned on a 50/50 basis, with checks issued
mid-month after items are sold.
